Russian and Spanish come in jointly at 5%. Additionally, based on research conducted by the British Council, the need for English language learning globally is forecasted to reach a peak of around 2 billion in the next 10 years, with a significant increase coming from Chinese students, estimated now at around 250 million English learners, increasing by about 20 million per year.
